COVID-19 Response Services

In March 2020, Gram Vaani launched its COVID-19 response network. It uses mobile phone technology to build awareness, counter misinformation, enable community feedback, and to link those in need of food, shelter, transportation and healthcare, or those facing injustice, to critical services. Since then, we have resolved hundreds of grievances; created reports communicating ground realities on people’s access to food, welfare and other entitlements; developed recommendations on India’s social welfare delivery and related infrastructure.
