Software engineer: Your job will be to develop further features in the MINP platform, especially those related to wireless networks.

• 3+ years of experience, or equivalent talent
• Computer science or electronics BTech/MTech having done courses/projects in computer networks, operating systems, software engineering, and design patterns
• Experience with the design of large object-oriented systems
• Expertise in C++, Java, Java Swing, Perl, Python, Shell scripting
• Very very comfortable on Linux
• Familiarity with Asterisk, GStreamer, and audio on Windows/Linux is a plus
• Familiarity with 802.11 MAC and IP/analog telephony systems is a plus
• Familiarity with basic electrical circuit design is a plus
• Extremely innovative, imaginative, and able to deal with independence
• Ability to prioritize and set deadlines for self and the team
• Ability to quickly research and master unfamiliar tools and technologies
• Feels excited about traveling to remote rural locations and interacting with the people

Technical support engineer: Your job will be to support Gram Vaani’s deployments.

• 3+ years of experience, or equivalent talent
• Computer science or electronics BTech, having done hands-on projects in computer networks and distributed systems
• Very comfortable on Linux
• Expertise with Perl, Python, and Shell scripting
• Familiarity with networking tools like nmap and nagios is a plus
• Familiarity with Asterisk, audio on Windows/Linux, and IP/Analog telephony is a plus
• Familiarity with basic electrical circuit design is a plus
• Extremely innovative, imaginative, and able to work independently
• Happy to be on the road traveling to remote rural locations and interacting with the people

Positions are based out of Delhi. If you need to relocate, we will try our best to make your move as comfortable as possible.
